Koblan Green Habitat Founder Silvia Blanco recently joined CREW Miami for an exclusive tour of the Signature Bridge, one of Miami’s most significant infrastructure projects currently taking shape.
The visit offered a firsthand look at how large-scale infrastructure can extend far beyond mobility. The project is designed to improve connectivity between major transportation corridors while introducing a new architectural landmark to Miami’s evolving skyline.
One of the project’s most distinctive elements is its series of illuminated arches, designed to create a recognizable new visual identity for the city. Beneath the bridge, the planned Heritage Trail will introduce green areas, cultural spaces, and pedestrian zones, transforming infrastructure into an opportunity for community connection and public life.
For Koblan Green Habitat, projects like the Signature Bridge demonstrate how infrastructure, design, sustainability, mobility, and community development can work together within a broader vision for the built environment.
The tour also provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives with professionals working across development, design, engineering, and real estate in South Florida.
