Habitania Park

Location: Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela 

Period: 2006-2008 

Architect: Jorge Rigamonti (National Architecture Award 2007) 

Components: Project with two interconnected residential towers with ventilated areas and landscaped internal courtyards,  modern shopping center and an exclusive hotel.

Key Features:

  • Naturally lit and cross-ventilated apartments
  • Projecting balcony system for sun protection
  • Sloped terrain utilized for natural parking ventilation

Habitania Park PHASE II

Location: Alta Vista, Ciudad Guayana 

Period: 2008 – 2014 

Architect: Henry Gonzalez

Components: Two luxury residential towers (69 and 139 apartments),

Key Features: Innovative, sustainable, mixed-use development on 30,000 m² plot

Achievement: Completed despite severe economic challenges, enhancing urban development

Altolar Residential Complex

Location: Villa Granada Urbanization, Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela

Period: March 2006

Architect: Jorge Rigamonti (expert in sustainable designs)

Components: Two buildings (A & B) with 48 apartments (100 m²) and 10 duplex penthouses (170 m²)

Key Features: Sustainable design, natural light, cross ventilation, energy-efficient

Achievement: Optimal design for high-temperature climate, utilizing sloped terrain for natural ventilation

Valaire Residences

Location: Villa Granada Urbanization, Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela

Period: January 29, 2008

Components: 6-floor building with 36 apartments, 4 penthouses, 2 elevators, 82 parking spaces, 50 storage rooms

Apartment Types: Various sizes (100.70 m² to 131.90 m²), including living areas, bedrooms, and service rooms

Key Features: Naturally ventilated parking, use of local materials

Achievements: Effective project cost control, construction on challenging sandy soils with drainage difficulties

Los Saltos Park Residential Complex

Location: Los Saltos Urbanization, Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela

Period: 2008

Components: 18 single-family dwellings, 3-story homes (310 m² each)

Home Features: Spacious layout including living areas, multiple bedrooms, terraces, and multipurpose room

Key Features: River views, metal main entrance doors

Achievements: Completed in two stages without bank financing, relying on pre-sales and rapid execution

Terraces of Cachamay Residential Complex

Location: Villa Colombia Urbanization, Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela

Period: 2005-2010

Components: 127 single-family dwellings in 4 sectors (A: 25, B: 37, C: 31, D: 34 homes)

Home Features: 2-story homes (130 m²), including living areas, multiple bedrooms, and bathrooms

Key Features: Sectored layout, porch, en-suite master bedroom

Challenges: Addressed land invasion issues amid social crisis and populist pressures

Villa Adriatica Residential Complex

Location: Villa Granada Urbanization, Cuba Avenue, Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela

Period: June 2010

Components: 9 single-family homes

Home Features: 3-story homes (328 m²), including living areas, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and multipurpose hall

Key Features: Terraces, metal main door, intimate sitting area

Challenges: Overcame irregular terrain, sandy soil, drainage issues, and electrical supply problems

Costa Azul Residential Complex

Location: El Caimito Urbanization, Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela

Period: 2007-2008

Components: 7 buildings, 4 floors each, 4 apartments per floor (112 apartments total)

Key Features: Affordable housing, compliant with state-implemented preferential interest rate laws

Achievements: Rapid construction (7 buildings in 1 year), excellent cost control

Challenges: Addressed decreased purchasing power due to inflation, particularly affecting professionals in iron and aluminum industries

USA Project: COBLAN Miami Showroom

Location: 97th Avenue, Doral, Miami, Florida, USA

Period: 2016-2018

Components: 10,000 sq ft luxury showroom converted from a warehouse

Key Features: Double-height exhibition area, ample natural light, eco-friendly products

Achievements:

  • Successfully changed use from warehouse to retail
  • Cost-effective renovation using existing materials
  • Recognition from City of Doral’s KEEP BEAUTIFUL DORAL initiative (2020)

Sustainability: Eco-friendly products, CARB2 Compliant, focus on home and planet health
